Board of Management

The School Board of Management is responsible for the direct governance and management of the school. The Board of Management meets at least once per term. Additional meetings are arranged as necessary.

The Board consists of:

1. Two direct nominees of the Patron.
2. Two parents of pupils enrolled in the school (one being a mother, the other a father) elected by the general body of parents of pupils enrolled in the school.
3. The Principal Teacher (or Acting Principal Teacher) of the school.
4. One other teacher on the staff of the school, elected by vote of the teaching staff.
5. Two extra members proposed by those nominees.

The School Board of Management has been constituted in accordance with the rules and regulations for the period of office from 2023-2027.

The current Board Members are as follows:

• Robert Manson (Chairperson).
• Eoin O’Donnagain (Appointed by the Patron).
• Róisín Ni Mhídheach (Mother member as nominated by parents).
• Declan Twomey (Father member as nominated by parents).
• Kathy Waldron (Principal).
• Sarah Smyth (Teacher member nominated and elected by school
  teaching staff).
• David Trost (Community Representative).
• Jarlath Daly (Community Representative).
